An unpainted frame is on the way, a collection of Campagnolo parts in the wait and a local painter ready to up the Canadian content of the Number Four Brand.
Meet the "Domesticated Bull" paint version of our prototype Lincoln Road bicycle. The Domesticated road paint jobs will maintain a simple design similar to traditional road frames, yet colours may be a little more unique. The market is drowned out by black and white paint jobs with the occasional red or blue tossed in for risky flair. More so, what the Domesticated Bull paint line-up offers is more Canadian Content.
Designed and Conceived in Canada, Painted in Canada and Assembled in Canada... by Canadian cyclists. That is the difference. We are tossing out the need for massive profit margins by reducing the amount of work done in China/Taiwan in favour of putting as much work as possible in the hands of Canadian Cyclists.
Keep a watchful eye out for our second prototype (first was the Loic 650B FS MTB being raced at O-Cups and Relay events) out on the road and at local events. This is the rim brake model, but a disc brake version is in the hopper as well. The prototype season for the road has begun, testing the riding qualities, strength and durability of the frame for in-house offering of semi-custom paint and component builds.
